We are looking to appoint a Head of Music, who is energetic, committed, and excited about producing an outstanding generation of young people who will not only transform their own life chances but make the world a better place.
Having a strong subject knowledge the successful candidate will lead in delivering an exceptional curriculum whilst ensuring all lessons are fit for purpose.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Promote high standards of attainment, progress and outcomes for all students.
- Set goals that stretch and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and take responsibility for, promoting high standards of literacy, numeracy and oracy including the correct use of English.

Commitment to safeguarding
At Stone Lodge our approach to safeguarding is child-centred and we consider at all times the best interest of the child.
We have a designated safeguarding lead, who provides support to staff members to carry out their safeguarding duties and liaises with other agencies such as children’s social care.
Mr Barnett is also a safeguarding lead and regular meetings are held to discuss any ongoing safeguarding or welfare concerns.
All staff members receive safeguarding and child protection training which is regularly updated.
