Ormiston Meridian Academy is a thriving secondary academy in the south of the city, serving 11-16 year old students. Alongside our lessons, we provide a rich and diverse co-curricular programme that develops character and inspires our students. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly committed Head of Music. Applications are invited from ambitious, inspirational and talented middle leaders or teachers who believe they have the skills, passion and determination to lead our academy music education to outstanding. The successful candidate will be an expert in music and have a proven track record of successful outcomes. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who will actively and positively promote music within the academy and will teach engaging and challenging lessons to enable our pupils to progress and achieve.
The successful candidate will provide professional leadership and management of music in order to secure high quality teaching, combining subject expertise with a passion for securing the highest outcomes. You will also play a vital role in fostering curiosity and critical thinking among our students. The post would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced music teacher looking to further their career.
