We are looking for a creative and passionate Head of Music to join our school from January 2023. Working as part of our successful Performance Faculty you will be responsible for the teaching and learning, outcomes and continuous development of the department. You will lead a well-resourced Music Department with two main teaching rooms, a full set of practice rooms and the use of a Mac Suite using the latest DAW software.
Music is a popular subject with a history of excellent outcomes at KS4 and our school community enjoys and values music.
The role will include teaching across KS3 to KS4 and all ability ranges, providing leadership and management of staff, developing enrichment opportunities for students in our secondary and primary phases, and demonstrating the ability and commitment to securing high standards of student achievement.
