Head of PE and Dance Faculty job summary

● Carry out the professional duties of a school teacher, as set out in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD).
● To develop effective leadership of yourself and others within the curriculum area/faculty.
● To be accountable for the raising of student attainment, their achievement and progress in P.E.
● To develop an exciting, challenging and relevant learning experience for all students, including their entitlement to extra-curricular sport.
● To take a lead role in promoting students’ health and well-being.
● To be accountable for promoting and safeguarding students’ welfare and personal.
● Development as part of a Faculty and whole school approach.
