  • A qualified teacher with substantial experience in secondary PE
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative
  • Impeccable attention to detail in planning, assessment, and curriculum development
  • A commitment to inclusive, high-quality physical education for all students
  • Experience organising sports fixtures, trips, and whole-school events

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the PE department, including staff development and performance
  • Design and deliver an engaging, inclusive PE curriculum
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching standards and student progress
  • Coordinate extracurricular sports and inter-school competitions
  • Ensure health and safety compliance across all PE activities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to promote whole-school wellbeing and physical literacy
