Head of PE job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, motivated and innovative Head of PE to join us at Three Rivers Academy. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who meets the Teacher Standards, with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment, together with a commitment to bring out the best in every student. The ability to teach to A level is desirable but not essential.

You will be fully supported both within the faculty and by the senior leadership team. Our outstanding staff and students make us a great place to work. When you join us you will be supported and developed through our extensive CPD programme and given effective PPA allocation to allow for a better work/life balance. We are looking for staff to join our team who are passionate about improving students’ life chances and capable of contributing to a highly effective and supportive PE teaching team and our extensive enrichment programme.

This has been and remains an exciting time for Three Rivers Academy as our new school building opened in February 2018. The new school allows for an increased number on roll and provides state of the art, purpose built provision for our students, all under one roof.
