Head of Psychology job summary
This is a truly exciting time to become part of our journey. The Cottesloe School is a rapidly growing, oversubscribed 11-19 secondary school, fresh from a £3 million expansion and the launch of our state-of-the-art million pound 3G pitch in September 2025!
The successful candidate will:
- Possess the requisite knowledge and pedagogical skill to effectively teach Psychology at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Take full responsibility for the leadership of the subject as a ‘department of one’, including curriculum design, resource management, and the monitoring of student progress.
- Be a passionate advocate for Psychology, fostering a love for the social sciences across the school
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of student success.
