HEAD OF PSYCHOLOGY
The Norton Knatchbull School is seeking to appoint an inspiring Head of Psychology to lead the delivery of Psychology at A Level from September 2026. This is a permanent position. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outstanding teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and learning, who can lead this highly successful and popular subject. We welcome applicants from either selective or mixed-ability settings, who are keen to work with high achieving and motivated students.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of securing excellent examination outcomes. They will be an exceptional classroom practitioner, capable of inspiring both students and colleagues, and will lead the department with energy and vision.
The Psychology Department at The Norton Knatchbull School is a high-achieving and well-established department with a strong track record of success at A Level. Psychology is one of the most popular subjects in the Sixth Form, with consistently high student uptake and excellent outcomes. The department delivers the AQA specification and is committed to supporting students to achieve outstanding results and develop a strong understanding of psychological theory and research.
