We are seeking applications for the position of Head of Psychology at Trinity C of E School, Belvedere. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave and is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated leader to contribute significantly to our school community and inspire our students.

As Head of Psychology, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Psychology Department, fostering a positive and high-performing team.
  • Drive improvements in student achievement across all key stages, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.
  • Implement innovative and effective teaching strategies, in line with our Christian ethos, to inspire curiosity and a love of Psychology.
  • Oversee the development of a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum that challenges and supports all learners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, conducting lesson observations and scrutinising student work.
  • Lead professional development for department staff, enhancing pedagogical knowledge and teaching practice.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to the overall strategic vision and success of the school.
  • Ensure efficient management of resources, including staff, budgets, and departmental facilities.
  • Promote and support extra-curricular opportunities and enrichment activities within the department.
