Teacher of Psychology and Criminology job summary
Are you an outstanding and inspirational Psychology Teacher who is eager to try new ideas including growing our post 16 curriculum to include a WJEC Criminology course.
Are you able to motivate, challenge and inspire students?
We are now looking to recruit an outstanding Psychology/criminology teacher to teach Psychology at KS4 and KS5 and support the introduction of the WJEC criminology course. We are looking for someone who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their passion for the subjects and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. A TLR allowance is available for an exceptional candidate or someone with suitable experience looking to take on additional leadership responsibility.
What we are looking for:
Someone with a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to inspire students through their passion and knowledge for Psychology
Applications are welcome from NQTs, from more experienced colleagues who are looking for a change or someone considering returning to teaching where you will be fully supported back into the classroom
Ideally, you will be able to offer a second subject, preferably criminology but this is not essential
A successful teacher who believes in bringing out the best in every student
