WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:
- Has a sound and developed knowledge of your subject and of its examination specifications.
- Has the experience to teach RE at KS3 and KS4.
- Is an outstanding leader, teacher and role model for all.
- Has a proven track record of leadership.
- Is a great team player, friendly and professional.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
- Will quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both our young people and colleagues.
- Will enthuse and motivate colleagues and students to work hard and try their best.
- Has previous experience of working with children aged 11 -16 in an education setting.
- Demonstrates personal resilience and role models those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people.
- Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:
- To provide professional leadership and management for the RE Department.
- To be a role model to members of the department, demonstrating excellent teaching and learning in their own practice and providing innovative curriculum thinking to drive the curriculum forward in all linked subjects.
- To raise standards across the subject in Teaching and Learning and Curriculum leading to better outcomes for all.

Bury C of E High School has recently joined the Bishop Fraser Trust, a C of E multi academy trust established in 2017.
