What skills and experience we're looking for
Demonstrate recent, successful, and sustained impact as a senior leader along with experience of working with children and young people with SEND.
Have specific experience, knowledge and interest in working with students with SEND, ASC and SLCN.
Effectively cultivate an environment that encourages collaboration, professional growth, and a shared commitment to the school’s ethos and vision.
A positive attitude which will inspire, enthuse and motivate students, staff and the wider school community.
Ability to establish high expectations for students and staff while utilising data-driven approaches to support pedagogical decisions.
Experience in strategic planning and actively participating in school improvement initiatives.
Confident, approachable and have the skills to work collaboratively, build effective teams and to be a present and visible leader who leads by example.
Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with young people with a range of complex needs.
Be hardworking, organised and proactive in their professional development.
