We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Leader to join our Academy as Headteacher. Key responsibilities:
- To provide outstanding educational vision, leadership and direction for the Academy, ensuring great pupil outcomes are achieved sustainably, and annual performance targets are met.
- To have core responsibility for: teaching and learning, curriculum development, developing teaching staff and creating a culture of safety and happiness within the academy.
- To work with other E-ACT academies within the region and Trust, to enable and support the sharing of good practice within the Trust, with a strong focus on the quality of teaching and learning.
- The Headteacher is accountable to E-ACT’s Trustees and is responsible for creating a productive learning environment which reflects E-ACT’s ethos.
- To implement the People Strategy, fostering a people-first culture that priorities engagement, impact and learning and development.
Pay range: L25-29 - £89830.00 - £99067.00
Qualifications and Skills:
- To lead in developing and implementing the vision and strategic direction of the Academy
- Have a strong commitment to pastoral care and responsible for strategically leading and managing behaviour and attitudes, attendance and safeguarding across the school.
- Ensure all information required by the Executive Headteacher, Education Director and other key colleagues is produced accurately, timely and efficiently.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven senior leadership and management experience in schools.

Shenley Academy has been on an incredible journey, having been judged as inadequate in October 2018 to an overall judgement of Good in July 2021, with:
