Astrea Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Head of School - Internal Provisions to lead our specialist settings across Cambridgeshire. These provisions deliver high-tariff intervention outside of mainstream education, offering therapeutic support, structure, and a high-quality, tiered curriculum. This executive leadership role reports to the Executive Principal and Deputy Director of Secondary Education.
About the RoleYou will provide strategic and operational leadership across all internal provisions, ensuring therapeutic and academic excellence for scholars requiring intensive support. You’ll line manage senior leaders, drive high standards, and lead safeguarding, behaviour, and curriculum systems across multiple sites. This is a pivotal role in shaping inclusive excellence and codifying best practice across the trust.

- Experienced in leading high-impact teams and driving improvement
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff through targeted CPD
- Confident in managing complex safeguarding and pastoral systems
- A culture-builder who embeds high expectations, structure, and therapeutic care
- A collaborative leader who builds trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders
