Head of School job summary

Woodcot Primary School is recruiting for a Head of School for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Contract Type: Fixed-term or secondment opportunity - 1 September 2026 - 31 August 2027

Working Pattern: 1.0 (Monday - Friday) part-time could be considered for the right candidate

Salary: Dependent on skills and experience - L4 - L12 (FTE: £55,747 - £67,898)

This is a new role for the forthcoming academic year. It is varied and made up of several aspects including school leadership, subject leadership, and a teaching commitment. Ideally, this full-time role is best suited for someone with prior leadership experience, looking for a secondment opportunity, though we are open to offering flexibility which can be openly discussed. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and committed to contributing towards a positive learning environment and has a strong personality and great sense of humour!
