Head of Science job summary
The Douay Martyrs Catholic Secondary School seeks an inspiring Head of Science to lead a high-performing department. The role involves driving excellence in teaching and learning across all science disciplines, supporting staff development, and promoting a curriculum that reflects both scientific rigor and the school’s Catholic ethos. The successful candidate will be an effective leader, committed educator, and positive role model who can nurture students’ curiosity and achievement in science.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences to all students
- Be a passionate believer in Science education.
- To lead by example and promote the highest quality of science education by successfully leading a large science department.
