Head of Sixth Form - Maternity cover job summary
City of London Academy Highgate Hill is seeking to appoint a Head of Sixth Form maternity cover for September 2026. You will be an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge.

About you
You will be an experienced and outstanding teacher looking for the next step in your career to join us at our academic sixth form, Islington Collegiate Sixth Form (ICS). You must have experience teaching any subject/s up to KS5. You will have great behaviour management strategies and you will also have excellent organisation and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, parents and external organisations. You will work alongside the Assistant Principal Sixth Form, Deputy Head of Sixth Form and Sixth Form Coordinator. Our mission: to develop well-rounded, articulate young adults who are intellectually curious, committed to mastering their subjects and inspired to pursue their academic and non-academic goals.
