  • Salary Grade: Teachers’ Pay Scale (Inner London) plus TLR 2.2 allowance (currently £5,867/year)
  • Reporting to: Head of Cluster
  • Commencing: September 2026

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional, motivated and inspiring Languages Teacher to join our team from September 2026, who will also take on the role of Head of Spanish within our Languages Cluster.

The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Spanish through to A Level. They will lead the strategic development of Spanish, ensuring that student achievement, teaching quality, curriculum design, and leadership and management remain exceptional.

A key aspect of the role is the ongoing design, evaluation, and refinement of the Spanish curriculum. The post also includes contributing to staff development, student engagement, the Cluster Curriculum Team, and performance management processes.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by the start date

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, with the ability to teach Spanish to A Level and French at Key Stage 3

• Have proven experience teaching A Level Spanish

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders

• Show a genuine passion for education and a clear commitment to securing strong outcomes for students

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of current curriculum requirements and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

• Be committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
