The new Head of Technology would lead this flourishing department, working closely with other curriculum leaders to ensure our students have the very best curriculum offer.

Recent events have included the student and staff "Bake Off" competitions, as well as a wide range of competitive House events. The new post holder would belong to a House and play an active part in House activities across the academy.

About the role

The role would involve leading Technology across the key stages, with the present focus being Food Technology at key stage 3. There would be the opportunity to introduce further technology courses over time, including for sixth form for suitable candidates. At present, whilst small, the Food Technology team has a strong curriculum offer and built in CPD for staff, including the full time technician. Our students enjoy Food Technology lessons and engage well with wider opportunities outside of the classroom, including links with local and national businesses. The successful candidate would also join one of our eight Houses and serve as a pastoral tutor within a year group.

Full Time / Permanent / 1st September Start date or sooner if possible.
