We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and highly motivated pastoral leader to the permanent role of Head of Year at Kingsbury Green Academy.
Kingsbury Green Academy, judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in every category when inspected in April 2022, is part of the successful Ascend Learning Trust. We are an ambitious, forward thinking 11-18 years Academy situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Calne in Wiltshire.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic leader who will:
be an outstanding teacher with a passion for learning
be an enthusiastic professional committed to providing our students with an outstanding education
be passionate about teaching and who will bring energy, enthusiasm and new ideas to the classroom and department
demonstrate ambition and a desire to play a significant role in the further development of the pastoral team
inspire the year group and lead every student to achieve more than they ever thought possible
lead and develop an effective team of tutors to ensure all the students in the year group are fully cared for and thriving
play a leading role in the promotion of the school House system to further strengthen the school community
model excellence in day-to-day leadership and management through living the values of our school
