Newfield School
Newfield School is a mainstream secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with approximately 1050 pupils on roll. Drawing from a wide catchment, the school offers a truly comprehensive experience.
Newfield School strives to provide all pupils, no matter their background or starting point, an academic curriculum that allows them to excel and thrive when they leave. The role
The role of Head of Year requires someone to drive the standards and expectations of our pupils, to ensure their academic success. Supporting with pastoral care, behaviour management and any safeguarding concerns, the role requires a committed and well organised individual who can help our pupils achieve their very best.
The candidate
A visible presence in all areas of the school, we are seeking a confident individual who can lead the year group and focus on securing their academic success. Knowing and caring for the pupils is essential but so is expecting a lot from them. We are seeking someone who can contribute to the overall experience of pupils and enhance their life chances. We want someone who can make a difference.
