Head of Year (non-teaching) job summary

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and engaging individual to effectively lead a year group with the aim of every child fulfilling their potential. The successful candidate will lead the pastoral provision within an allocated year group, where they will consistently promote a positive ethos which sets high standards and expectations with regards to behaviour, welfare, attendance, personal development and achievement.

The Head of Year will create and maintain effective working relationships by promoting a creative and collaborative working environment and lead a pastoral manager (assistant head of year) and team of tutors in ensuring students are fully supported to access their learning.
