Head of Year job summary

Pioneer Secondary Academy, part of the Sikh Academies Trust, is a vibrant and inclusive Sikh ethos school rooted in the values of Respect, Aspiration, Integrity, Seva, and Equality (RAISE).

We are seeking for an enthusiastic, committed and highly effective Head of Year to join our dedicated pastoral team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about student wellbeing, attendance, and character development.

As a Head of Year, you will shape the student experience by leading your year group with clarity and compassion. You will be responsible for embedding our Character Virtues and delivering a pastoral curriculum that teaches students the values and expectations of Pioneer Secondary Academy.

We are seeking a leader who can implement motivational systems that drive students toward excellence while ensuring that achievements are regularly recognised and shared with families.

You will benefit from high-quality professional development, including tailored CPD and opportunities to pursue relevant NPQ qualifications, as part of our values-driven and aspirational community.
