Your role will include supporting the academic and personal development of pupils within the year group. You will also work to raise the standards of pupil attainment and achievement across the year group by ensuring the provision of an effective programme of pastoral support.

The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. In February 2020, the school was judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in all areas.

We instil “The Ripley Way: We are Ambitious, We are Committed, We are Proud” to ensure all our students can achieve their academic and social potential. We consequently strive to have the highest of expectations and standards from, and for, all our students. Our aim is to ensure they can achieve their version of “nothing short of remarkable”. The Ripley Academy truly is a great place to learn and to work.

We welcome applications from teachers who feel they have the ability, enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the lives of students at our Academy; someone who has a true passion for the pastoral wellbeing of students as well as the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students ensuring all achieve their full potential. This post will be suitable for ambitious and enthusiastic teachers looking to make the next step in their career.
