What skills and experience we're looking for
The Beacon School are looking to appoint and exceptional and dedicated Head of Year to lead, inspire, and support our students.
Your opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for the pastoral care and support of a year group helping to ensure outstanding attainment and progress. You will also be responsible for the Deputy Year Leaders and development of a team of tutors, so that they can provide effective care and monitoring of the students in their tutor group and enable them to also support student progress, attainment and well-being.
You will be expected to have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to form professional relationships with the students in your care.
We are prepared to consider applications from professionals without teaching status.

Salary: Main Scale plus TLR 2
