What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Head of Year. This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / name of school and become an integral member of the Brakenhale team. The role provides a structured and supportive professional learning programme to develop the successful candidate’s knowledge and skills to enable them to teach across all key stages. The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning. We are looking to recruit a colleague with both the commitment and relevant skills to drive our raising standards agenda across the whole ability range.
Greenshaw Learning Trust is a highly successful multi academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive, non-selective and inclusive education through primary schools and secondary schools. Main responsibilities:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Tutor
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to accelerate with their learning
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment across the school
