What skills and experience we're looking for

We have a vacancy for a Head of Year to join our rapidly improving school.

Henry Cort is an established school in Fareham and will be moving to a new state of the art building in Whiteley, planned to open from September 2027.

Are you passionate about education and dedicated to shaping the minds of the future generation?

We are seeking a dynamic and committed qualified teacher to join our team as a Head of Year. We would particularly like to hear from you if you teach English, Maths or Science but all specialisms will be considered.

We would love to hear from you if you have the essential skills and experience from our Job Description/Person Specification and:

- have a strong understanding of what high quality teaching and learning looks like in IT.

- are committed to creating a positive climate for learning for all students

- have the drive, energy, enthusiasm and vision to lead developments

- are passionate about teaching/high quality learning

- routinely deliver great, well planned, challenging lessons

- have a good sense of humour
