What skills and experience we're looking for
If you are ambitious and passionate about playing a central role in supporting our students achieve the highest possible standards then this is the role for you. You will be working as a key middle manager in the pastoral team supporting a team of ten tutors. Your role will be to support the behaviour, needs and progress of all students within the year group.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Proactively working with students, parents and staff to maintain the highest possible standards.
- Supporting and quality assuring the work of your tutor team using appropriate systems, guidance and training to help them to maintain standards.
- Working with the Heads of Upper/Lower School and safeguarding team to keep children safe.
- Supporting tutors to develop effective strategies with students who exhibit repeated behaviours below our expected standards.
- Closely monitor students and work closely with the Heads of Upper/Lower School where there are significant concerns about students.
- Effectively liaise with external agencies as and when required.
- Securing the highest possible attendance.
Preference may be given to applicants who offer subjects where we have vacancies.
