We are sorry to say that our long standing Headteacher is retiring at the end of the academic year. She will be a hard act to follow but the children, staff and Governors are committed to finding the right person to lead us through the next phase of our journey.

We are a large infant school which includes a nursery and reception intake and we are seeking the right person to be our new Headteacher, someone who has the skills and ambition to deliver excellence in all areas of our school.

Children are introduced to our school values of Respect, Love, Perseverance, Team Work, Challenge and Independence. They are taught to recognise them not only in themselves, but also in others.

Our school family is very special; we are a unique place of learning. This is because of our enthusiastic children, skilled and committed staff, wonderfully supportive families and local community. We believe that every child is unique and our aim is for every child to SHINE! Our motto is “We Shine Here”.

Our vision is to enable children to become confident, independent and inquisitive individuals who achieve their potential and are ready and eager to embrace future learning. We support and encourage them to be caring and responsible members of their school family and wider community and to make a positive difference to the people and the world around them.
