About You

To join us as Headteacher you will:

Have recent proven leadership experience and management skills within a primary school setting.

Demonstrate management of actions to bring about performance improvements.

Be committed to inclusivity and ensuring every child has access to an outstanding education.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum innovation, pedagogy, and evidence-based practice.

Be able to thrive in a collaborative leadership environment, valuing teamwork and professional generosity

Be dedicated, committed, enthusiastic, passionate, and innovative as you strive to improve outcomes for all children.

Continue to build on the strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.

Have the ability to make sound decisions and work in challenging and sometimes demanding environments in a flexible and effective way.

Have significant experience of management change preferably in an education environment.

Have the ability to persuade, influence and motivate others at all levels and to deal with difficult people and effectively handle conflict.

Have a good understanding of issues and policy developments within the primary sector, in particular Ofsted developments and updates in teaching pedagogy.

Be a spiritual leader as well as corporate parent.

Demonstrate a clear vision and understanding of the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church and implement the church’s worldwide concept of Seventh-day Adventist education.
