Head Teacher job summary
Due to the promotion of our existing head, the governors are seeking a new Head Teacher who is committed to continuing to drive improvements and inspire the pupils to strive for excellence in a friendly, stimulating, caring environment where every child feels valued. The Head Teacher is to be an active and visible presence around the school, leading by example and modelling excellence in teaching and learning. The appointment will be from September 2021.
As a community leader with significant influence in the immediate area, we are seeking a Head Teacher who has the following attributes and goals:

• Aspire to provide an exceptional education that ensures that all pupils thrive.

• Work collaboratively with the governing body, colleagues, parents, carers, the wider community and external partners.
• Equip children with strong moral values.
• Develop community aspirations, determination, industry and perseverance.
• Have an understanding of the challenges that rural schools encounter.
You will be joining an Ofsted rated Good school during exciting times; the school is having a new extension built, where the early years (Nursery and Reception) will be housed. You will have a vital influence in the development of this key area of the school.

Helpringham Community Primary School is a rural village school located in the heart of Helpringham village, near Sleaford. The school serves both Helpringham and the outlying villages Great Hale, Little Hale and Burton Pedwardine and also attracts children from outside the catchment.
