North Nibley C of E Primary School has 110 pupils split over four classes supported by a team of committed and experienced staff. It is situated within the heart of a small village on the edge of the Cotswolds and plays an active role in the life of the local community.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Head Teacher capable of delivering educational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience of being a leader offering an engaging and forward-thinking approach who will lead by example and focus on supporting and developing the team on a trajectory of continuous improvement.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to build on the successes the school has already achieved and enrich the teaching and learning for the benefit of all pupils.
The Head Teacher should hold specialist subject interests, and demonstrate a keen appreciation of the particular character of the school and an ambition to develop the school further as a Church School in the Diocese of Gloucester.We are looking for a candidate(s) who:
- supports the school’s Christian ethos and is committed to promoting the spiritual, moral and mental health of the children
- will participate fully in the life of the school and wider community
- is flexible, resilient and capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities
- is able to take on a teaching role (currently half a day per week)
- Lead whole school curriculum development as well as leading on specific subject areas with subject leadership.
