What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an outstanding Headteacher who will recognize the school's potential and deliver the transformative change we believe we need. We know that this means we may need to think differently about what we do and how we do it – and we want to work with and support the right person to make this change.

We understand this is a challenging role, so we are looking for a leader with vision and resilience to guide and work with us on this journey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the capability to manage one of the largest Primary schools in Lincolnshire.

The governing body will appoint a Head Teacher who:

• Is an excellent leader with high expectations of achievement and behaviour

• Has the ability and ambition to raise standards, enabling every child to reach their full potential.

• Has vision, energy, honesty and loyalty and can inspire and motivate staff and children.

• Will create an environment in which children flourish emotionally, socially and academically.

• Will deliver the transformational change we need in close collaboration with parents, staff and governors

• Will use their innovative and enthusiastic leadership qualities to support the strong teamwork at the school and ensure our committed staff continue to grow and develop.

• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across the school.
