Headteacher job summary
We are looking for a highly experienced leader with expert knowledge and proven impact for embedding effective behaviour and inclusion systems whilst developing a positive culture within the school to continue to raise outcomes for all learners. The successful candidate will benefit from working with an attached Executive Headteacher (School Improvement Partner) along with the full support of the Trust. We are looking for someone who can work effectively with parents, staff and students whilst having a clear vision for meeting the needs of the most vulnerable students in the school. We are looking for someone with gravitas, confidence, energy and resilience.
Faringdon Community College (FCC) is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive secondary school set in attractive landscaped grounds, on the edge of Faringdon, Oxfordshire. The school has a good local reputation and is known for inspiring exciting teaching and learning where teachers are supported and encouraged to help every student to achieve individual success and realise their potential.
Faringdon Community College was last Inspected by Ofsted June 2024 and retained being Good in all areas. Our ambition is to be better.
