a clear vision of excellence in primary education with the ability to think strategically and lead the school by building on the strategy, vision and values already in place
the desire to work in a truly inclusive school, where every child, family and staff member feels welcomed and valued
the highest expectations for children’s attainment, personal development, welfare and behaviour
ability to activate all children, staff and parents / carers to support our Christian ethos and our values
excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
the willingness to look outwards, and the desire to continually learn
an understanding of the latest OFSTED and SIAMS inspection frameworks to drive performance
a desire to research and implement new as well as proven teaching methods to support development of all children in the school
proven leadership with evidence of understanding and embedding new initiatives to develop and enhance the curriculum
an understanding of effective management and an ability to support, mentor and empower a team of highly motivated, passionate and dedicated staff
confidence to be a visible and active headteacher, available to children, staff and parents
an openness to the advice and guidance of others; to readily admit mistakes and share the learning opportunities from these.
