What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an inspirational, innovative, and outstanding leader for an established, high performing team to maintain our excellent standards and achievements for the benefit of the children and community whom we serve.
The successful candidate will be passionate about learning and teaching, and will have the drive and commitment to inspire and enthuse our children, staff, and parents. They will have a whole-hearted commitment to excellence in education, and be in sympathy with our foundation as a Church of England School. They will be a spiritual leader who will support and further develop our Christian ethos, working with the Diocese and our local clergy, building on positive, collaborative, relationships across our local community.
What the school offers its staff
We are proud to offer an exceptionally supportive environment for our new Headteacher. You will be welcomed by a committed and skilful Governing Body, a strong, experienced and friendly staff team, and well‑established partnerships including the Salisbury Diocese and wider teaching and learning networks. Our wonderful children flourish in a culture of engaging, inspiring learning experiences set within our beautiful surroundings.
Holy Trinity is a thriving, well-respected, sought-after Single Academy Trust situated in the small village of Great Cheverell in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Our school regularly achieves within the top few percent of all primary schools in the country in statutory assessments, and, just as importantly, provides a creative, broad based and engaging curriculum across all areas of children’s education. Children are at the heart of every decision made at Holy Trinity, and the Christian values of compassion, courage, aspiration and joy are lived out by the children, staff and governors.
In addition, we offer a comprehensive and supportive package to ensure you thrive in your leadership role, including dedicated professional development, mentoring opportunities, and a commitment to your wellbeing and success.
