Key Requirements ‐ we are looking to recruit a Headteacher who:

  • will champion our more vulnerable learners
  • has the skills, knowledge and experience to make the most of the school’s resources in a challenging financial environment

  • identifies priorities for pupils and the school in collaboration with stakeholders, placing these at the forefront of decision making
  • evidences a strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • shows a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse school environment
  • will lead the school community with ambition, enthusiasm and a continuous drive towards excellence
  • will successfully lead the school in this ever-changing educational landscape
  • has a clear educational philosophy and vision, which will focus on raising achievement and standards across the whole school
  • maintains our culture of high expectations of attainment and progress
  • will lead by example in promoting our pupils’ welfare, learning, emotional well‐being and happiness
  • continues to promote inclusion and diversity
  • has the personality, skills and understanding to lead and manage a highly effective team
  • has a recent proven record of effective leadership, performance and management within an educational setting
  • is committed to working in partnership with governors, staff, parents/carers, key partners and the local community to ensure future development and growth
