An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual with proven leadership experience to join the Trust as Headteacher for Daventry Hill School, an all-age special free school that is undergoing a rapid transformation after considerable challenge.
This position offers an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to be part of the continuing development of our school which currently caters for 155 fantastic students aged 4-18 who have a wide range of learning needs, including complex learning difficulties, SLD, MLD, ASD and associated social and emotional difficulties.
Creating Tomorrow Academies Trust are a growing trust supporting schools who believe that children can achieve irrespective of their learning needs, and the trustees now feel the time is right to recruit an outstanding leader with significant experience of leading the learning and teaching of young people with additional needs, including those with complex learning difficulties.
You will have proven success of implementing and embedding curriculum developments which lead to improved outcomes. Creating Tomorrow Academies Trust are committed to the welfare of everyone and you will have a proven record of developing your teams as well as fostering excellent relationships with stakeholders, having demonstrable evidence of inspiring your colleagues and leading effective collaboration.
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective day to day operation of the school, including the curriculum, learning and teaching, and pupil progress and achievement. You will have operational management of the budget and responsibility for all staff at the school. You will support the Trust to create a culture of high expectation, self-evaluation and constant improvement. In return you will be supported by colleagues across the Trust who lead and manage the central business services so you can focus on developing the unique culture of your school.
