The school has an excellent local reputation and is known for inspiring exciting teaching and learning where teachers are supported and encouraged to help every student to achieve individual success and realise their potential.
The retirement of our current Headteacher presents a fantastic opportunity to join our school, with the prospect of an equally exciting future within our wider Trust. Both Trusts view the potential merger as a merger of equals, underpinned by a joint intent to secure the best possible educational provision for pupils and enhance both development and career opportunities for staff.
We are looking for an exceptional, committed Headteacher with a proven record in educational leadership to share our ambition and strategic vision to build upon the Ofsted ‘good’ rating (February 19). Your energy and enthusiasm will inspire, challenge, and empower all members of the school in achieving the vision, and fostering an environment in which learning thrives.
As a dynamic organisation, our Headteacher will have strong leadership skills, and be comfortable managing competing agendas. The school has a strong and motivated team of teaching and non-teaching staff, committed to ensuring the needs of our students are met and providing the best education they can.
In return for your energy, passion, and ambition, as a Trust Headteacher you will be welcomed into our innovative partnership of Headteachers and central trust team; supporting both your own ambition and continuing professional development, and that of your school and staff.
Requests to visit the school are warmly welcomed. Should you wish to have an informal conversation about this vacancy with our Chief Executive Officer Richard Evans, please contact recruitment@faringdonlearningtrust.org.
