About Emmanuel Community Primary School:

Emmanuel Community School is a primary school with a Christian designation that has its roots inEmmanuel Community Church International,which is found in the heart of central Walthamstow, and was founded as a free school by The Emmanuel School Trust.

The Emmanuel School Trust is now looking to join with a larger trust so that the school can be part of a larger group of schools. It is in detailed discussions with Unity Schools Partnership and expects a decision to be made in April about the school’s future.

The Role:

As Headteacher, you will lead and manage the school, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and care. You will have responsibility for the strategic direction of the school, working closely with governors, staff, and parents to shape and implement our vision and values.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record of leadership in a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of pedagogy and curriculum development.
  • Can inspire and motivate both staff and students.
  • Is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse school culture.
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and can build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Is passionate about the holistic development of children and can create a supportive, engaging, and challenging environment for them to thrive.
