Dear Colleague,
Empower Multi Academy Trust is looking for a creative, energetic and inspirational Headteacher to lead one of our flourishing schools into its next exciting phase. This is a unique opportunity to blend strategic vision with practical leadership, making a lasting impact on the educational journey of every child in our community at St Peter's CE Primary & Nursery School, Wem.
As Headteacher, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Team, and colleagues across the Trust to achieve excellence at every level. You’ll enjoy the independence to shape your school’s direction, supported by a forward-thinking and supportive Trust.
Your Purpose
- Inspire Vision - Establish and deliver ambitious goals and objectives for your school, aligned with the Trust’s overarching strategy.
- Pursue Excellence - Champion exceptional teaching, a broad and inclusive curriculum, and the highest standards of achievement for all pupils.
- Prioritise Safeguarding & Wellbeing - Foster a safe, calm, and nurturing environment for both pupils and staff, with robust safeguarding and health and safety at its core.
- Lead and Develop People - Motivate, support, and empower staff through strong leadership, effective performance management, and ongoing professional development.
- Cultivate Culture - Nurture harmonious relationships within the school and the wider community, promoting collaboration, respect, and a shared sense of purpose.
- Ensure Accountability - Take responsibility for statutory and regulatory requirements, including equality, finance, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
- Drive Collaboration - Play an active role in Trust-wide projects and join our Executive Leadership Team, with opportunities to take on strategic leadership responsibilities.
