Headteacher job summary

The successful candidate will have:

  • proven leadership and management skills with the ability to communicate the school’s vision to pupils, parents and staff
  • a passion to improve teaching and learning so all pupils are able to reach their full potential
  • the ability to adapt to an ever changing educational world
  • the skills to be an excellent communicator with parents, pupils, staff and the wider community
  • the ability to be a Leader of Learning who will promote a positive attitude in staff and pupils
  • the ability to embrace the Trust’s Vision and work alongside other Headteachers in the Trust to improve outcomes for all pupils across each of the academies
