What skills and experience we're looking for
The Headteacher of John Ferneley will play a crucial role in supporting the development our secondary phase, working collaboratively across the secondary leadership team within the culture of the Trust and sharing accountability for the performance and success of the secondary schools. The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who has the creativity, courage and commitment to enable staff and students to achieve and who has a track record of leading change and improvement.

We are delighted to be appointing an experienced aspirational leader to join our trust secondary leadership team as Headteacher of John Ferneley College at this very exciting time for Mowbray Education Trust. We are a family of schools dedicated to providing children with a first-class education. Based in Leicestershire and reaching far beyond, our settings support pupils throughout their education journey, providing them with the skills and knowledge to thrive and make a positive impact on society. Mowbray Education Trust is a successful and growing multi-academy trust with 535 staff in total, 201 of whom are teachers, and just over 3300 pupils.
