Headteacher job summary

Due to the retirement of our highly regarded and long standing headteacher an exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the school through its next stage of development. The Governing Body, staff and children are seeking to appoint an inspiring Headteacher to provide professional leadership for the school, ensuring high quality education for all its children and high standards of learning and achievement.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

Applications will close on : Sunday 23rd January 2022 at midnight.
Shortlisting will take place on: Wednesday 26th / Thursday 27th January
Interviews will be held on: Wednesday 9th February 2022 and Thursday 10th February 2022

Guided tours of the school will be available with a member of the governing body, on the following dates:-

• Wednesday 19th January 2022 at 9am
• Thursday 20th January at 2pm and 4pm

Candidates selected for interview will be contacted immediately after shortlisting by phone and email, but we will not contact unsuccessful candidates. References will be taken up after shortlisting and prior to interview stage.
