- Ability to secure the loyalty and confidence of pupils, staff, parents, those who govern and others
- Ability to create an exceptional positive ethos within the organisation which is recognised by staff, pupils, parents, those who govern and the wider community
- Commitment to their own personal development
- Be a role model for pupils and staff
