We are pleased to share the exciting opportunity for the Headteacher position at Stone Lodge School.

The school opened in 2019 and has seen rapid growth and now has over 1000 students.

We moved into a brand-new building in 2022. The school is heavily oversubscribed and serves the needs of its local communities, with a very local catchment area. Following a strong Ofsted inspection in October 2023, followed by a successful first set of GCSE and post 16 results, the school is well placed for its new Headteacher to build on strong foundations.

Our new headteacher will lead a dynamic and exciting school, with great students, and talented and committed staff. You will be part of the executive leadership team at Endeavour MAT and will work closely with the other headteachers and our central team as we work together to support the young people in all of our schools to lead successful lives.

School leadership is a privilege, and you will lead the community through the second phase of the school’s development. You will understand the complexities of leading in a vibrant non-selective school and will embrace the challenges this presents. Our students only get one chance at their education, and you will lead a community that makes every minute count.

Stone Lodge School is fully inclusive and caters for the diverse needs of its students. We have appointed highly motivated, dynamic support staff, teachers and leaders who deliver exciting learning every lesson, every day, so that all our students reach their full potential and secure first-class destinations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established, motivated senior leader who is keen to lead this popular school in the local community. Inclusivity and success underpin the school culture and all desire to create an environment that the young people can flourish.

As the Headteacher you will be responsible for the development of the curriculum across all key stages, recruiting and retaining students into the sixth form, working in partnership with trust colleagues, governors, families, staff and students to embed a high-performance culture.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong leadership skills, with outstanding communication skills and an ability to work successfully with all stakeholders
  • Have a track record of success in their current role
  • Develop the vision and values of the school and contribute to the visions and values of the Trust
  • Have a commitment to raising standards across the school amongst students and staff
  • Develop a culture of inclusivity and collaboration amongst staff and students

Please read the attached applicant pack for more information on this role.

Career with Endeavour MAT - what we can offer you:

As well as offering you a competitive salary with pay progression opportunities, you will also be working in a purpose-built setting with great facilities and with a team of talented, engaged and motivated colleagues. Our common RIDES values of respect, integrity, determination, equality of opportunity and self-management help instil a strong work ethic among staff and students alike and our supportive culture provides what many of our existing staff describe as a ‘family feel’ within our Trust.
