Headteacher

Leadership Range L10 to L16

Stramongate Primary School is seeking an experienced and values led leader to take on the role of Headteacher and lead the next chapter of this well established, community rooted primary school in Kendal.

This is an opportunity to build on strong foundations, working with a dedicated staff team, engaged families and a supportive trust. The successful candidate will provide clear, inclusive leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and wellbeing, while nurturing a positive culture where pupils and staff can thrive.

As part of Cumbria Education Trust, you will benefit from collaboration with fellow headteachers and access to trust wide support services, including school improvement, HR, finance, safeguarding and data. This support enables headteachers to focus on educational leadership while retaining autonomy to lead their school in a way that reflects its community and context.

The role will suit an experienced primary leader with a strong moral purpose, a proven track record of school improvement and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion. Applicants must hold QTS and either hold, or be willing to undertake, the NPQH.

School visits are warmly welcomed.
