The Trustees of Yorkshire Learning Trust are looking for an outstanding professional to lead Tadcaster Grammar School.

Tadcaster Grammar School has a long tradition of excellent academic outcomes and pastoral care. Founded in 1557 it is a vibrant comprehensive school in the heart of its community. Our core purpose is to enable all to ‘Be Your Best Self’
All members of our school community have a full part to play in this and our new headteacher will have a strong moral purpose and a desire to ensure we can all be our best selves irrespective of starting points or barriers.
You will have successful previous experience of school leadership, with a commitment to high academic standards, social cohesion and the development of the whole child. You will be an excellent communicator, have a warm personality and be an unfailing advocate for excellence in all.
You will work with a talented and committed staff who have an aspiration through high quality provision, to enable our young people to achieve their ambitions and play a meaningful role in their community and beyond.
You will play a significant role in our forward-thinking multi-academy trust working closely with other head teachers and the Trust with a joint commitment to doing the right thing for all the children and young people in our care.
North Yorkshire is a great place to live and work. Tadcaster has easy access to national road networks, vibrant cities and breath taking scenery. A relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
