Over the last four years, Thornhill Academy has been on a rapid improvement journey, this culminated in our ‘Good’ Ofsted grading in May 2024, about which we are all delighted. We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide professional vision and leadership for Thornhill Academy, securing its success and improvement, and ensuring high-quality education for all its pupils. The successful candidate will lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all students.
We are looking for someone to:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school, driving continuous improvement and raising standards
Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture that empowers both staff and students to thrive
Ensure the delivery of a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
