What skills and experience we're looking for
The governing body are looking for a candidate who:
- Has the ability to devise and communicate a clear vision for the school and how it will develop over the next 3-5 years.
- Embraces change within the education landscape and can translate that at a local level to drive improved standards.
- Has the ability to develop the use of Information and Communication Technologies in teaching, learning and management communications.
- Has well developed people management skills and can communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Has recent teaching and leadership experience in EYFS and/or Key stages 1& 2.
- Has experience of resource management.
- Fully supports the aims and ethos of a small Church of England School.
- Can develop and sustain an exceptional school learning environment for both staff and students.

We are a small village Church of England primary school, located in the village of Twyford, just 8 miles from Bicester or Buckingham, and less than 20 miles from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and Oxford.
Our catchment area is rural, with children coming from local villages. We are a half form entry school with mixed age classes in Key Stage 2. We have a Nursery class as part of our school and currently accept children from 2-years 10 months of age.
